Holani Hana, Inc. will increase stakeholder engagement in their strategic planning and decisionmaking processes while simultaneously building community capacity through an in-depth two-year community listening tour. Currently, Holani Hana recognizes many pathways to mission fulfillment, but a better understanding of what their community genuinely wants and needs is essential. By increasing stakeholder engagement and growing each communities capacity to identify, articulate, and communicate shared goals, all of East Maui will be able to engage in community-led, location-based initiatives effectively. Ultimately, this project aims to serve the local, statewide, and worldwide community through activities that foster Hawaiian cultural education.
